Mount St. Joe wins 13th straight championship, finishes 14-0 in duals and ends season ranked #1 by the MSWA (Maryland State Wrestling Association)

MSJ has five individual champions.
Southwestern brings only 8 wrestlers but all make the finals and they finish with five champions.
Walter Reed, Southwestern 167 was the tournament Outstanding Wrestler.

AA-A

Broadneck High school wins it’s first state title. They also finished tied for the Anne Arundel dual meet title and won the regional title.

B-C

Jeff Rosenburg of Oakland Mills is the second wrestler in public school history to win three championships and place in top four all four years. He finished in 3rd his freshman year.

Quentin Gough finishes the year 31-0.

Oakland Mill Coach Steve Carnahan retires after winning ten Howard County titles, three state championships, and 12 individual champions. He has more champions than any other B-C coach.

The Bullis School finished the year a remarkable 19-0.
They won the IAC league title, and the National Prep Championship. They finished the year with two National Prep Champions and ranked #1 in the state. (By the Washington Post)

Post Season:
Southwestern senior Darin Allen is named Baltimore Sun Wrestler of the year. He finished the year 38-0.

Mount St. Joe sophomore Scott Shaw wins a National Prep Championship
Andre Kelley of Bullis is named outstanding Wrestler at the National Prep Tournament. This is his second National Prep Championship.
